Description of Services:
The Human Resources department manages the personnel and benefits functions of the Town. These include:
- formulating and implementing personnel policies
- employee relations
- support for collective bargaining
- wages and salaries administration
- recruitment
- monitoring workers' compensation
- police/fire medical administration
- benefits administration for Town and School employees and retirees
- overseeing unemployment benefits, and
- managing personnel records
